Assessment action guide · Improve

Nonconformity & correction

Protect the customer now and prevent recurrence across the system.

First 30 days

  1. Confirm the current process and one accountable owner.
  2. Collect representative evidence from recent opportunities.
  3. Define one proportionate control and a usable completion criterion.

Objective evidence

Deviation record; containment; cause analysis; corrective action

Measures to baseline

Repeat failures; correction time; credits; complaints; effectiveness

Effectiveness test

After 30–90 days, compare the baseline with actual customer, flow, quality, risk and commercial outcomes. Record whether the control helped, created friction or needs redesign.

Evidence posture

Start with Known observations and records. Label unverified conclusions as Inferred, proposed targets as Assumed, and absent baselines as Missing. Do not claim realised value until the effect has been measured.
